Happy New Year! Here's a holiday romantasy from the Miscalculated Magic series
When born-witch Amaris Rutter arrives at her fiancé's doorstep with a surprise dinner, she never expected to find Weldon Wraith dressed as Santa. When he asks her to be Santa's pint-sized elf helper, she's faced with a choice: let her insecurities overshadow the holiday spirit or embark on a journey that will reveal the magic of the season.
Much as I’d love to post the short story Jingle here, it’s too lengthy for a newsletter format. Instead, it’s formatted as an Ebook and is available through BookFunnel (see link below). I’m offering here as well as well as through my Pack Some Snacks newsletter.
BUT, during March 2024 all free stories/novellas will disappear from both Substack and BookFunnel. All free short stories and novellas will be removed and folded into an anthology featuring both Mage of Boston and Miscalculated Magic series short stories and novellas.
Jingle is a departure from my usual urban fantasy and paranormal themes. In Witches of Worth, Amaris and Weldon found their happy for now. This short story, along with another to follow shortly, will address unresolved threads in their personal story.
